Hello,
A lot of us carry Victorinox Alox knives, for me they are also a great knife to mod. Pictured is my modified Pioneer, I exchanged the awl for a small blade. Anyway, the one thing that I miss is the SAK toothpick. I’ve found a way to carry my alox Pioneer and also have a toothpick. Check out the Reeve Coil Knot lanyard http://www.chrisreeve.com/knotright.htm, look closely. I’ve inserted a SAK toothpick into the lanyard, it carries well and stays put.

Hi ScottK: Nice job, and a clever idea about the T&T.
Could you point me to how-to-it information on disassembly and reassembly of the Alox knives, without damaging the scales. Also names of special tools needed and sources from which to obtain them. I have some experience, and a few tools, enough to replace a blade or assemble a kit of the conventional American style . But I am hesitant to try to work on the Alox knives without more instruction. Thanks for whatever you willing to offer.
Regards, Nate

Not to be picky - but that knot should really be labled "modified hangman's noose" which in truth is what it is! but a great idea for carrying the toothpick!
Peace

Love the idea! Recently (Thursday) picked up a Farmer and miss my toothpick and tweezers, now I have a solution, thanks for sharing!
