Alox question.

Hey guys, I have a question just for S and Gs. I know that Salt water does a number on Aluminum pretty bad. What about the handles on my Wenger Standard Issue? I know the blades would be ok, but what about the handles? Alox is aluminum, correct? If they got exposed to salt water, would they corrode away? Has anyone ever used one on or near salt water? Just wondering.

Its been my experience that aluminum and salt water don't get along well. Extended exposure will corrode it. If you wash it thoroughly with fresh water after exposure it should be ok though.
