first I've heard of the 663...looks good. good blade length for general use.

I wish the specs. listed the overall length on these Alphas. Are the handles all the same size?

I thought the handle size of the 664 Hunter was a wee-bit small in radius, but still workable given it's blade length.
Is the handle on the 663 Guide the same as the 664? I'm thinking so.
I sorta like bigger handles on bigger knives.

I really like the thought of the longer blade on the 663 Guide but have concerns about the handle size.

Vanguard cutting edge is about 3 1/2 inches.
The Guide is listed at 4 3/8 inches.

663 Alpha guide:
I like the knife.
It feels good in the hand.
The balance and weight is good.

I think the handle is a bit slim in thickness, however if it were wider it probably wouldn't be as effective as a skinning knife.

I really like the blade shape.

I keep wanting to grab a 664 Hunter.
But keep hearing of a possible kydex sheath for the Alpha knives.

So I wait.
Patiently.

I like that a lot. First time noticing. Sold out like everything else over at buck... hope they plan to restock. Originally I thought I would grab the new mini, but haven't gotten around to it. That 663 is really nice looking g.
