We got a new puppy dog in our house, a shepherd, for some good company for our 4-year old dog.
We named him 'buck' :)

To celebrate I gave both my 12 year old sons a buck alpha dorado that I have been keeping for them since their birth, and they are so happy with it. Perfect for them and they have the age where they are good to go with pointy knives, they have outgrown the moras, opinels etc.

One really loves the vantage I have and the other one thinks the buck nighthawk is the best knife ever (my first fixed blade, '94).

Letting all buck friends know that there are some really happy buck customers in the Netherlands ;)
take care all!

:)
here you go :p

thank you, it's a swiss shepherd, others call them canadian shepherd. Other build than ze german shepherds, with taller hind legs and a more family friendly character.

This is the pair I gifted to my granddaughter's..With repeated warnings not to take them to school. 20200808_171413.jpg

Very nice bucksway, beautiful knives.
+1 for not taking them to school etc. I've tried to teach them since they were very young. They must even treat their nerf playguns as weapons ('always treat as loaded', 'don't aim at something you don't want to destroy' etc).
They are as responsible as I can expect, but they have my genes, and will do dumb things. otoh, they don't give knives a second thought, they're everywhere in the house and so far so good.
