Alpha dorado or spyderco ambitious

Which would you reccommend for an outdoor use pocket folder
I like the point on the alpha... but the lack of a pocket clip is a strike against it..
your thoughts?

I have the Alpha Dorado and I really love it, but, like you, I wish it came with a pocket clip and not a sheath. I've been thinking about putting my own pocket clip on it, but just haven't gotten the balls to try it yet..

Alpha Dorado has slightly better steel but no clip & looks pretty, the Ambitious has a clip is half the weight (3oz versus 5.8oz) and you can thumb it open or grab the spydie hole and flick. Having said that the Ambitious has been in my pocket since I got it nice knife for $29.50.

I'd go with the buck myself mainly because of the blade steel though the spyderco would be more convienent with the pocket clip and spyderhole.
