Hello All-

I'm looking for some in-hand shots of the Dorado, or other shots that show the scale of it. Looks like a nice small knife, but I'm just trying to get a better feel for it.

Thanks

Here are two pics of a Dorado with a 110. The Dorado is not that small but it carries well in the pocket.

Wow! You aren't kidding! For a 2.5" blade, it's a big sucker. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of a Fallkniven U2 next to a 110, would ya?

I carry a dorado in my pocket everyday. It is small enough to be legal. Large enough to fit in my hand.

Extremely handy small knife that goes well in the pocket or on the sheath it comes with.

I think it's an overlooked knife by some & they don't know what they are missing. I have two of them and would like to know where I can buy extra scales from&how much?

Be nice if BUCK did them in a kind of emergency yellow delrin like CASE'S yellow handle series. It's no joke if you drop the camo scales one on the ground:eek:
Excellent knife:thumbup:

Chewy1... I have a rosie dorado that a Buck Brother sent me when I lost
mine. Got ahead and get one if you have been thinking about one becouse
you will be glad that you did .Merry Christmas .

BUMP.
For you that actually own this knife, can you tell me if you've had any issues with the liner lock? Thanks

My linerlock fails spine whacks and the liner reaches all the way across to other liner when used for a medium-hard cut. Same with every alpha i have ever had. Not that it detered me, cuz it's a very comfy knife.

Hi Chewy1,

Like all of the Alpha series knives; these open smooth as glass and lock up tight as a drum:thumbup:. You keep looking at these...go and get one. You will love it.

I love all of my alpha series as well. No problems with any of the 6 of them. They all open and close smooth as glass ;) Lock up is tight also!

But then again I never spine whack my knives...

Great advice jb!

Had a slight problem with the lock on my camo scales Dorado. Not safe enough, but Buck fixed it quickly and efficiently.I might add that I live in the EU not the US so that made the speedy service all the more welcome&reassuring. Fine knife this model!

I've never had a problem with the lock on my Dorado. I have not tried a spine wack with it though.

As JB said, they are very smooth opening.
