ALPHA series pricing on buck site

Do the new Alphas qualify for BCCI pricing? Been trying to get one in the cart since release, but the prices ive gotten have been all over the place and NONE of them migrate to the cart before purchase. I thought my membership was up, but doesnt expire until next month.

I read somewhere that Buck isn’t giving discounted pricing while demand is so high they can’t keep up with supply. We’ll have to wait for demand to slow down before getting any discounts.

I really like the looks of them too and noticed the BCCI discount didn’t show up. I would really like to get a Guide Pro one day. But I can wait until things slow down a bit. Although it seems Buck is struggling to keep up with production on a lot of knives I’m interested in lately. Maybe that’s a good thing.

B BennyBlade I noticed the same thing when I looked at them a week or so ago. If I logged in, the price on the page would reflect a discount, but then going to my cart it showed the regular advertised price. I thought maybe it was my browser, but didn't investigate it much further.

typically new releases are exempt from discounts with bcci. I have seen new releases being able to apply it in the past but I suspect it was a mistake by Buck staff setup, more than a policy change.

Once demand dies down I'm sure the prices will fall to the normal $100-$200 for a Magnacut fixed blade in those blade shapes. I can wait.
My Demko Freereign in Magnacut was about $180 but was $200 upon initial release and the first few production runs still sold out fast.
I was patient.

Wasn’t on their site, I remember someone contacted buck and that’s explanation they got. I don’t have any details or remember where I read it. It was most likely here or BCCI on Facebook.
