Already drooling. New spyderco

The SR-1 is about $275 IIRC. This one may come down to 200. G10 on one side so your not paying for 2 slabs of Ti. But it may never go in to production and the sprint run could be expensive. Theres a thread on it in the Spyderco forum but no MSRP or if it will be a production model.

Found it. Looks cool. Also the 5 round 12 ga in M16 style. Like an M16 version of the Saiga. And a chainsaw foregrip shotgun.

Where did you see the Bull pup 12 ga? I did see the 5 round 12 ga in M16 style. Like an M16 version of the Saiga.

Here is an 11 page thread on the Kel-Tec shotgun. 15 round dual mag-tube fed bullpup pump shotgun. 26.1" overall with an 18.5" barrel, so it's civilian legal.

1. I love the KT. I will own one of those as soon as they start hitting shelves. KT, great American company, came a long way from their little plastic BUGs.

2. I would rather have an SR-1, but anything that brings Lion Steel to the masses a little more is good. Great company. Looks to be another great collaboration from Sal and the crew.

http://lundestudio.com/2011SHOTShow/spyderco.html I love the looks of this. I cant wait for it to become available. Unfortunately it will probably be out of my price range.

Cool for sure.

But I have my titanium frame lock desire appeased by just having received my ZT0551 and I also have on order the Hest Folder which is a collaboration with Lionsteel too and looks to be a mighty knife as well. So, chances are I'll pass on this one...

Personally, about new Spydercos NOT in the '11 catalog, I am very excited about the Yojimbo 2 (cool video @ Shot Show in the Spyderco section). Also, other exciting stuff from them, according to what I read on the Spyderco section straight from the writing of Mr. Glesser, is that they are thinking about producing again the Ayoob (only in PE, apparently) and that they will be getting their hands on some S110v, even though they still have not decided how to use it.
So I have my scopes firmly on Yojimbo 2, Ayoob and what they'll do with that S110v...:)

I love everything about this knife EXCEPT the G-10/Titanium handle arrangement. But that is not limited to all G10/Titanium handles knives. I would like to see Spyderco do an all titanium handle for it, even if it is a two piece handle I would still be fine with it.:)

+1. I regret not grabbing a PE one while they were still available. The PS one I had was surprisingly useful in EDC.

No worse than the SpyKer was. :D

"Spyker" was a decent name. They could have at least called this one the "Lion Spyder" or something like that... The "LionSpy" sounds like a Disney cartoon whose main character is a lion named Jason Bourne.

How about "Spyon" or "Spion", to be like scion, which is a descendent, since it's the descendent of both companies? Maybe that's too on the nose.

Anyway, interesting knife. I'll be curious to see the final weight.

Those sound too close to 'Cylon', which might anger Battlestar Galactica nerds.;)

Besides, 'Spy-on' sounds like someone's watching you, which would probably anger paranoid knifenuts. :D

For that matter, Lion Spy sounds pretty suspicious...sounds like a big jungle cat that wants to steal government secrets. ;)
