Aside from Emerson and certain Spyders, what knives come naturally waved? I can think of a few. DDR comes to mind. So do AG Russel folding Sting and varients. Cold Steel also has a thumb plate.

Many of you are sick of me waving good knives so I'm looking for alternative ($150+) knives that may only need a tip up conversion.

I've seen ppl wave a ZT MUDD by using the huge thumb disk, I know it's not an actual wave, but I think SladeGT40 has a video on YouTube of him doing just that.
The Kershaw Talon with bottle opener will do it also, since it's almost a perfect wave, just isn't labeled as one, but functions the same.

I've seen the Talon on Don Rearic's site... too bad they've been out of production for almost a decade.

Currently made production knives with wave:
Emersons of course
Spyderco: P'KAL, Delica and Endura Emerson Opener
Fox: Karambit, Delta Spec. Ops Col Moschin
Böker: Applegate Folding Dagger
Böker Plus: Armed Forces Folders,Manual Jim Wagner Reality Based Blade,
Böker Magnum: The Agent, Camo Defender, Great Knight, Thunderbolt, Black Knight, Grenade, Stiletto
Crkt: M21 and M16 with double guard, Hammond Desert Cruiser Special
Cold Steel: Ak-47 and mini, Rajah II and III, Spartan, Espada L and XL, Ti-Lite

Just got one, brand new =) I was thinking of selling it to you, but it's probably the coolest knife I have and I can't bear to part with it.

F' em, ...if you like a mod be it a wave or whatever, F' em!
FTW! Be who you are. I'll be the 1st one to wave a Strider if I ever
get the money for one.

Fox is allowed to use the Emerson patented wave now. they were given rights at the 2009 Blade Show in Atlanta. They have a few models that incorporate the wave and like Spyderco they list the Emerson patent number on the blade. I think Fox Knives USA has a website.

CRKT M21 & Desert cruiser are excellent for the money !

These Delta Waves by Wilson Tactical are pretty cool, but like CM, I wave my own..:D

I also wish more knives came with the wave feature. I would much rather have companies make wave/non-wave knives then plain/serrated.

You should "drop" the spine on the kerambit approx 2mm to prevent the blade from hanging up on your pocket. Don Maxwell showed me how to do that on a belt grinder. Much easier than using a Dremel.

@ TheCarbideRat: I'll give you mega props for waving a Strider folder! You'd still have full spine thickness and all you need to do the job is a belt grinder!

I agree. I am a big fan of the wave (or wave-like) feature. I got one of the Boker Armed Forces knives a while back and was pleasantly surprised for how much it actually cost me. It turned out to be a brute (not something i'd go to if looking for finesse though). The wave-like feature was one of the major selling points for that too.

People don't like your waved mods? I've always thought that they look really neat...

I didn't want to take to much of the spine down to preserve most of the blade. I've trained with this knife a lot and it has never hung up on my pocket it deploys every time without fail. Thanks for recommendations though

Cool deal, if it works... wave on!

Why not just roll with autos if you so concerned about rapid opening? If you can own them legally why bother with anything else?
