"Sigh".... 15, 16, or 17? :D

I just went through this last week, and the answer is "Yes".

I went with the 15 first, but I know at some point the 17 will be next. Or maybe the 16.
They're almost like a knife, fork and spoon. You kind of need all three!

I believe there is a 16 for sale in the fixed blade section with Micarta scales if your itchy.

What are you planning on using the blade for primarily? I have the 15 and 16, both are excellent knives.

I went with the 16 with the intentions of using it as my main bushcrafter.....it will shortly have some company...going to order a 15 when I get back from taking the kids to disney next month

You cant go wrong with any of them but I would say the 17. I couldn't resist that well executed clip.

The 15 is great, and the 16 and 17 are also great. You're screwed, cause the answer really is all of them. Personally, I would go with the 16 or 17 though. Then get the 15 later.

After seeing this question over and over and asking it myself, I think LV got it right......the answer is YES! :D

I love them all and only have the 17 at the moment, but I will have to get a 15 and 16 for sure.

I picked the 15, but these guys are all right. Either choice will be great. My first was the 16, but ive since settled on the 15. The only real advice ive got for you is good luck lol.

I love the 16 but have been going with the 17 quite a bit lately. Then I pick up the wife's 15 and think "Damn, this is a nice knife". You really do need the trio. Sorry man.

We've done a great job of narrowing it down for you:D. At the end of the day the answer is D. All of the above.

How about this: no matter what you pick, you will make a good choice and end up with a great knife AND you will undoubtably want to but the other two anyway. Best bet is to make a choice now and plan to own all 3 by Thanksgiving. I am not joking here, I predict this is what will actually happen!

The answer is 48 of course... lol

But seriously I am suffering from the same syndrome. I love my 15, its just such a great all arounder... but I fear so are all the other tweeners. It really amounts down to what blade style do you prefer? To me, I prefer clips... and drop points... and trailing points... I think I will be getting the 17 next although I have found the 7 for slightly less which is weird... but anyways just grab the one that appeals to you the most... they are all strong and well built.

I went with a 15 and it is amazing! but just remember, whichever one you go with (first), you still win :)
