I am not sure whether to get the Fallkniven F1, Bark River Bravo 1, or the ESEE Junglas

I'm just going to be using these as an all purpose camp knife and utility knife...
(I plan on getting all 3 honestly)
I just dont know which to get first?
What are some foreseeable pros and cons?

I only own one of the knives you speak of and that is the Bravo and I love it. All three are execellent manufactuers however and would be a pleasure to own. The Esee and Bark River knives have the better warranties (Though if you don't abuse your knives you shouldn't have a problem with any of them). The Junglas is a way bigger blade then the other two, so I'm curious as to why you chose that over the Esee-4?

Now why I prefer the Bravo?

I prefer convex ground blades (Fallkniven, Bark River)

I prefer the micarta over the thermorun handles (Esee, Bark River)*Note you can get the Fallkniven in Micarta for more money though

I prefer the handles be permanently fixed to the handle (Fallkniven, Bark River)

I prefer carbon steel blades (Esee, Bark River)

Basically out of the box without any modification on my part the Bravo-1 fills my needs and wants. That's not to say it would fill your needs and wants though. Hope this helps you in your search!

Thanks mate!
(I already have the ESEE4 and love it)
I don't really NEED these knives, but I work in a gun store and see guns EVERY DAY, so I'm kinda burnt out on em...
I'm just in the mood to get a few good knives and head on out into the bush.
I'm really leaning towards the Bravo, It looks NICE.
Another question, how do I care for/ sharpen a convex grind?

Whitlashflash, Bravo 1 is good, ESEE 6 might be more comparable, the Junglas is a beast! :)

The F1 is designed to be a survival knife. But a specialized survival knife: compact camp, bushcraft, skinner, for a downed pilot. I have the comparable Fallkniven H1, a hunter/skinner. Heavy duty, both of them, very thick stock.

Once you learn to sharpen convex, the Fallknivens make more sense. Check out our Maintenance forum for sharpening information, at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/794-Maintenance-Tinkering-amp-Embellishment

That is a tough one. I have all three, they are all great in their own way. If you have an Esee 4, you have that size blade covered. If you dont have a heavy chopper I would get the Junglas. But the Bravo1 feels so nice and the F1 is killer and does not require as much blade maintenance.... Good luck

Thanks guys! I have a few Golok style knives like the Junglas...
But I also have multiple knives for multiple chores and I dont really need any of these!
But the wife just got a bonus and she finally got her little volkswagon. So she decided to let me get another knife =P
So I guess its just more like...Which is cooler XD (or something along those lines.)
Thank you for the link Esav! I'll check it out right now.

Get the Junglas. Very versatile knife, works better for 'small knife tasks' than would be imagined for a blade that size. If I ever had to 'one knife' it, and concealment wasn't an issue, I'd probably grab my "JungleAss" :-D

I've got all three and found the F1 most often in my hands, since it's stainless I use it when fishing and also for light food prep in the kitchen and such. However, I do agree with the other posters as you have the 4" covered with your Esse 4, get a Junglas and spend a weekend in the woods.

Oh? I hear a lot of people liking the Junglas. I'm kind of in that mindset now...
But, should I spring the extra for a Bark River Golok? I love the way those things look, and I've heard they're pretty darn good.
