Alright guys, lets see your favorite tactical folder

Spyderco Delica 4. It isn't much to look at, but it's got the right blend of features...size, weight, materials, cost/value. It's just a good, functional knife.

My tactic yesterday was to saw some poles. Accordingly, my Vic Huntsman is a pretty good tactical folder - I carry it pretty much always and everywhere...

Funny you choose this knife. I was talking to Mel Pardue a few weeks back and he told me the story of how he came up with the Griptillian design.

The people at Benchmade had been hounding him to come up with something new. His daughter was hospitalized while he was designing the knife and he decided to just crank something out. He told me that he took every aspect of what a "tactical" knife is and put it all in one knife - and the Griptillian was born. He did all this sitting in a hospital with his daughter. So yes, the Grip is actually designed as a tactical folder. Neat story!

Mel lives about 15 minutes from me in my home town. :)

Demko custom Navajah. Keep in mind I only have 3 (soon to be 4) tactical folders in my collection of less than 10 knives.

To bad he ripped off the Spyderhole design from Sal. Maybe it should be called the Benchmade Spydertillian.
