Alright I Need a new EDC due to the fact the Karambit is not really made for everyday tasks, and my Buck Rush just seems to small. I carried a Folding Buck Strider Tanto w/ Serrations for around a year before I started buying other EDC knives. Alright I need a EDC knife thats a bit smaller than the Strider I have, built like a tank, preferably w/ serrations, and tactical. Price range can be less than 120.

Next question - I started looking at Razels recently and haven't been able to look at all the brands yet, so can someone prefer a good brand that offers a small pocket version of a razel. preferably the size of a Buck Rush.

Thanks a lot, looking forward to the responses

Any one of these will do.

And if you’re on a budget

The Chinook III has the thickest tip, while the blade on the Manix and Mini-Manix are ground more for good cutting ability than toughness. They use variations of the same lock, which is the strongest lock Spyderco has ever produced.

The last two are regular Spyderco knives that are built very well, not over built, but strong enough to do what most people need them to do. Note that the Ball Bearing lock on the D’Allara Drop point has been noted to be among the smoothest locks out there, if a bit hard to disengage (unlock) sometimes.

Hopefully, no. Why would you wish that someone should rip off someone elses design? If you want a Razel, get a Razel. You could contact Graham directly and ask them to make one to your preferred size (delivery time might be an issue though).

Different, but somewhat similar in shape, but standing on its own is the Bugout Blade by Atwood: http://www.phlaunt.com/atwoodknives/17650395.php
Atwood is a master of very small edged "gems".

I'll second that getting the real thing. The Graham brothers are really nice people and have excellent customer service. I'm having them make me a custom Wharncliffe right now built to my specifications. The Razel is their creation why settle for anything else? Support the maker.

my pocket razel is a great size for edc(unless i carry my pocket wharncliff)and the graham bros are excellent folks to deal with.
