SteelDriver is right, this is a bigfoot trap built in the early 70s to catch bigfoots,They would put a slab of deer on the back board inside of the trap, when you picked up the meat,a plate would drop and release the door on the trap.and then it would send a radio signal,to the ranger station, the only thing it ever caught was a hunter, trying to steal the meat.Heres a pic of the trail head, notice the big foot print on the left side of the sign.

Bigfeet are too smart to fall for something like that!
Something that large MUST be pretty smart to stay hidden for that long!

What are those knives? They look like a Busse and 2 Swamp Rats.
2 Swamp Rats and a Ranger Knives RD series with the flat grind/blaze orange G10 combo.

Justin, the owner of Ranger Knives, bought the 5160 blanks that Jerry Busse was selling and used them for now what is his RD series.
