So, just got my Swamp Warden in the mail...doing a 550 para wrap on this new bad blade...and bam...out the sheath (BB kydex) and gets me on my left index finger knuckle. 3 stitches later, I LOVE THIS KNIFE! Para wrap turned out nicely!

Blade also knicked my middle finger, no damage there though! This is a pic after sutures and bandage, couldn't get a shot before suture though (too much bleeding to get a shot).

Anyways, I WANT YOUR STORIES!

I sliced open the side of my thumb on my M9 literally the moment I took it out of the box it came in. Love at first bite :D

That was like 3 months ago, no pics... sorry :)

While taking some pics of some Waki's (when they were available) I sliced my thumb badly. Looked like a crime scene on my back deck area ;)

:D:D

Haven't been bitten by a Rat yet...but I imagine it won't tickle when the time comes! I did slice my finger with a FFBM convexed by Norcal Blacktail while cleaning it after a chop session :o The cut was so clean and so deep that I could clearly see my middle phalanx (finger bone). To this day, I still can't flex my index finger all the way! The second you stop respecting your knife is when she will bite you; Murphys Law in full effect.

There's a right way and many wrong ways to unsheathe a knife. It looks like you discovered one of the many wrong ways.

I gave a friend a Himalayan Imports Ang Khola as a gift a few years back... He brought it along on an overnight canoe trip and cut his thumb to the bone unsheathing it. He was holding the sheathe wrong (I showed him the correct way earlier) when he drew the knife. Needless to say it put a damper on the remainder of the trip.

My Swamp Warden bit me in my thumb and index finger when I was cord-wrapping it. I was stupid and did not even have it sheathed, or do anything to cover the sharp edge.

I was messing around with my Ratmandu and HRLM, handling each time after time. Not thinking, I choked up on the grip to use the choil on the HRLM. The HRLM choil is very small compared to the Ratmandu, thus resulting in a nice bite to my index finger. Won't do that again!

My M9 sliced me twice the night I got it. Once on the choil, onces while putting it in the cardboard. Neither were bad but I felt like an idiot for allowing it to get me twice in less than 2 hours. Sadly I sold it and never got to cut anything else with it :(

What..? you never told me that. Crazy.

You normally get bit when you are doing the most of routine things.

A RMDx LE just got me on Sunday. I was talking to some friends and not paying attention when resheathing. Stabbed myself right in the finger

I've managed to cut myself with every knife I own. My mom tried to teach me to not play with knives, but I didn't listen.

I've had a nip or two over the years. :D

My best bite was from a Stihl chainsaw.
