Ok, so I got back from Ethan's today, and we gots some info fo' ya'.
There will not be 4 Ethan's Challenges a year, there will be 12. Once a month, for a large knife prize. Yep, you heard, 12 Beckers up for grabs a year. Get ready, we're rollin'.
The first challenge is coming up for December, and I'm so excited about it, I'm gonna post it later tonight, get ready.
Gear items are going to be only 3 for a limited time.
Patches- we will not be using the Becker/Kabar logo, so we will be creating our own, licensing it, and making it ours.
Stickers-Vinyl, heavy duty, put them on your car, tool box, canteens, whatever. They will be sporting our new logo.
Beer stein- Acrylic (probably) with our logo. Good for all drinks hot, cold, or alcoholic.
The patches and stickers will be permanent, but the beer stein will be a limited run, they may return, but once all of them are gone, we will be moving on to the next. Better get'em when you can.
Most of the gear ideas were a hit with Ethan, but he also like the idea of revolving items, to make them a little more special.
Shows, events, and gatherings will be forthcoming.
We are starting the race, but we don't want this to be a sprint, but a LONG marathon, without a finishing line. In order to keep this train rolling, we need fuel, and I gots some working for us. Look for other giveaways and pass arounds to keep us on track, but YOUR participation is what will keep it going, and YOUR ability to spread the Beckerheads is paramount. Don't be snobby, don't be rude, but show everyone what a Beckerhead is, not just a knifenut, but great people with great blades.
