This is my first knife in wenge and I really like how it turned out so I wanted to share. Really nice stuff that I plan to use again.

Thanks John. I gave it a number of coats of tung oil over a few days and sanded it up to 2000 grit and polished it with a white scotch brite pad. It has a nice shine to it that you can see in the pics.

I've noticed some really nice looking knives by Jared while browsing around on the forum here over the last few months. I happened to see this one in person the other day and was blown away with the fit, finish and striking design! Very nicely done!
... really look forward to getting a unique blade made by him at some point in the future.
 
Beautiful! The contrast of textures and colors is great. It seems like the bright orange of the liners bring out the grain of the wood really well. Just a really well thought out overall design.
