Altering a BM Stryker to tip-up carry?

Well...I love the knife, BUT, I would love it even more if it were tip-up carry. I don't want to open up the can-o-worms of which is better...this one is purely preference!

How would I go about converting my regular Stryker to tip-up? Is it easy? I am fairly handy, but have not done alot of work on my knives before...always afraid I would screw up my investment. If it is not easy enough for me to do it...who would you suggest?

Please advise!

If you have a drill press and the correct size taps you should be in business! Line up the clip how you want it, then center punch to mark the three holes, drill away, tap the holes, and you're done.

If you don't have a drill press, a hand drill may be a little more tricky, but if you're careful you should be okay.

Good luck,
Mitch
