Alternate Sheath for CS Bushman Bowie?

Just picked up a Cold Steel Bushman (BOWIE model) and love it--wrapped the handle with some paracord, and now it's an excellent outdoor camping tool for me. Only thing is, the sheath really kind of sucks. it's way oversized, and the blade comes out too easily--there's nothing holding it in. Needless to say, I would not trust having this monstrosity flopping around on my belt. It's a shame, cause it's such a great all-around knife.

Does anyone know if there's an existing sheath out there that fits this knife? I've looked around, and the closest thing I could find was a Case Bowie Sheath, but not sure if it would fit or not. I know this subject gets kicked around alot, but I haven't found a decent solution yet. Any suggestions? Thx!

I have the regular Bushman with the pouch sheath - or should I say had the pouch sheath.
The plastic liner inside it cracked after a couple of years of use, so I made a temporary sheath out of epoxy and denim.

The original sheath served its purpose, but also had retention issues which I fixed by gluing a rangerband around the inside of the sheath opening.
You won't be jumping out of planes with it, but it won't fall out by itself. I suggest you try this first.

The sheath that comes with the Bushman Bowie looks a lot like the ones that come with CS Machetes. They are solid sheaths and all of mine are still going strong.

Too bad yours is the bowie. I have the regular bushman and made a kydex sheath for it. I never use the knife but it sure snaps in nicely.

I'd take a look around the maker's forums, some of the guys here do great kydex work, and i'm sure theres someone there willing to make a kydex sheath for it.
