Alternative to the Kershaw subforum?

I hadn't looked at the KAI subforum for a while and now I look back to discover that it is closed. I find this rather depressing.

Where can I go to find the same people discussing the same things in the same context as in that subforum? If there is nowhere like that, then I am confused and hurt by the dismantling of such a fun community.
