alternatives to kissing crane euro hunter

i like the design of the kissing crane but i do not like that is made out of 420 stainless steel. If anyone knows of a knife with a similar blade made of better steel. Handle material is not important. Thanks for any help.
 
How much are you willing to spend? The older Puma Hunter's Pal looks just like that, and they are good carbon steel. More recently (1980s-1990s) they were stainless, about the same as 440B, although in my opinion the Puma stainless of that era held an edge better than a lot of 440C or ATS-34 knives that I tried.

You can find them regularly on ebay, and they seem to go for around $100. Don't confuse them with the more recent Hunter's Pal II.
