I guess I'll leave the name on, I like it. A total length of 3.5" out of a 3/16" scrap piece of 1084, and my first hollow grind. As I type this it's completing it's first of 3 temper cycles at the oven. Can't wait to end the cycles to finish it! I realize that being so thick it might suck, but I like the shape. I will try the same design on a piece of 1/8 or thinner stock later

I tried to do an horizontal rotation of the photo but photobucket doesn't seem to cooperate... oh well...

For that thickness and that size I would have no issue paying that all day long. Upgrade your membership(don't need the mod's hammering me) and let me know if you want to sell it.

lol. I've been toying with the upgrade idea for a while. Alas, I'm still in the process of making my garage compliant with city permits and bigger. That will mean a real work table, more space and proper tools. But thanks! hopefully before the year is over I will have everything sorted out and an upgraded membership.

finished!

not my first knives. These are # 9 and #10 (I think - have to do a count this weekend) but yeah, I'm still learning the ropes. The slightly bigger one will get HT today or tomorrow. I like this design, and will get thinner stock soon to do them again (1/8 or less), and play with different grinds and edges. Thanks for the feedback guys. I will post as soon as my garage is done and upgrade my status to sell these.
