shld work just fine don't ya think?

It would give a visible reflection, but just covering it with tin foil and another layer of plastic is infinitely better.

Also, why're you posting this in the RAT sub forum?

There's a lot of RAT talk about tins and tin sheaths that RAT sells. In MY MIND, survival training has become synonymous with the RAT brand, among others. So maybe that's where Sadiejane's coming from.

Regardless...

I'd sooner glue one to the inside of the lid or something. I think you could probably polish it to enough of a shine to work, but it wouldn't last long though.

We talk about a lot of stuff, not just RC knives. Anything training or survival related is welcome. Now if you want to talk about the global climate as it pertains to good mood shortage among party clowns who are only in it for the money, then you're off topic. The rules aren't THAT strict.

Should work just fine. One thing you might consider is shooting it down with some clearcoat, help keep it very shiny :) Also will work in a real bind to collect water, or put berries in for food collection. The tins have a ton of possible uses.

It should work fine, you know how to aim it right......you hold your left hand out w/ the peace sign in a wide open V and put that towards what you flashing at and if you see your reflection on both fingers the target is being hit.
