  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Always amazed how big the little Dragon Fly is.

Yessir. It is a very capable knife.

Might as well call this the Sugar series because it is the opposite of Salt...
I love this patina, though. This knife taught me a lesson in how much blade you really need.

For some reason, the Wharncliffe looks so much bigger than the standard Dragonfly. When I got mine, it really shocked me how big the blade looks.

It makes me appreciate the original design even more.
Oh, take into account whatever that green wharncliffe is, is not the same as a D-fly Wharncliffe. Look at it... no finger choil, not the same design.

Hashishiin, I have a dragonfly wharncliff like yours and a zdp-189 dragonfly. The standard dragonfly just looks smaller when open.

BTW. The green thing was a salt2 according to the OP.

The spine of the Wharncliffe not being beveled like the standard DF2 makes it seem more robust as well

The Wharncliffe Dragonfly is an EDC MVP. It's small enough to go anywhere but can do so much. It sometimes ends up living in a jacket pocket or riding in a pack. Like my Swiss Tool, it's an unsung hero, behind the scenes for my daily EDC pictures.

I only have one in Hawkbill, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a K390 wharnie.
