Seems like I tend to naturally give myself a break by working on things not in the immediate work schedule.

Example. I went in to glue up a fixed blade yesterday evening but ended up getting this rough cut instead.

What are you working on you didn’t really plan on working on currently?

Work that I didn't plan? Well, I shoveled snow off the sidewalk between house and garage this week. First time in my life I can remember shoveling snow, and hope never to do it again I had almost 8.5" here in Fairhope, AL area.

I built a couple of carbide straightening hammers as a break from working on a knife. Enjoyable.

Got my unplanned project heat treated today. 8670 in tempering oven now. Tempering out at 375 degrees.
