Am I a snob?

After owning a small Sebenza, there are only a couple of factory knives that I'm willing to spend money on. Every time a new folder comes out I think to myself, "Thats a neat looking folder." Then I start thinking about how it would stack up against the Sebenza and I just totally end any thoughts of buying it.

Sooner or later it just seems to happen that way after you get a sebenza.....
Owen tried to tell me that a while back and I thought he was nuts. He was not ......I just did not understand yet....:)

Your normal............ :D

Well, anyway you look at it, I'm happy that I have a Sebenza (and plan to get more) and that I appreciate how perfect it is.

It's normal. It will be very hard to find another knife as good as the Sebenza, well, if you don't count the Mnandi;).

As Webster puts it;

Main Entry: snob
Pronunciation: 'snäb
Function: noun
Etymology: origin unknown
Date: 1781
1 British : COBBLER
2 : one who blatantly imitates, fawningly admires, or vulgarly seeks association with those regarded as social superiors
3 a : one who tends to rebuff, avoid, or ignore those regarded as inferior b : one who has an offensive air of superiority in matters of knowledge or taste

yeah, I guess we must be snobs? :D
but it's tolerated as there is a name for us someone coined a while back...

See, that Sebenza saved you money. That makes it an extremly well built knife that is a bargain.

Now all you need is a large. Oops!

As a tool, you only need one, the right one for the job. As a weapon, you only need two, a primary on a backup.

So why do I have a drawer full of knives?

What are you talking about???

That is the only knife that isn't a custom/handmade that I would consider buying moving forward ?? Everything else does not compare.
