i didnt see any reviews against it. just please dont review clones, homages etc. and you should be fine.
 
Well, I guess this is a no go then. I do have some of those knives reviewed. Some Ganzos and a couple of Chinese copy/homage knives. Although no true clones as I don't support outright clones of any kind.

IMO, there is a difference between a copy/homage and a true clone. Some people don't see it though.

And what is that difference? Seems like ripping someone off and then calling it an homage/tribute on top of that is even worse.

As far as your reviews, we do have an entire subforum devoted to reviews.
 
Another question, if you don't mind....you asked if you could post a vid in your post, and in the same post posted a vid? :confused:
 
i find it funny how he just made a video calling it all BS about clones.

listen buy what you want. just stop sharing it. people are buying clones as the real thing, logo or not. they are getting scammed. your doing nothing but helping people scam people.

its not tolerated here.

also those knives are often not the same materials or even function the same as the original so when people get them and dont like them they shun the original. people that like them then say they got something way cheaper and is better, even tho the original has better materials.

its not their design to sell. they are taking someone elses design language.

i mean it goes on and on and on.

overall stop promoting stealing. you are an avid watcher of luvthemknives. because he says its okay is not right.

wow what a tantrum. offended that clones are bad for the community. would be nice if you would just stop helping others buy clones so they can sell them to good hard working people and ruin the community more and more.

what you should be doing is supporting good knives that have original designs. the people making clones would do better if you and other folks would ask them to make their own design language with good pivot/detent designs that flip good, rather than stealing other designs.

If you find people with opposing opinions so offensive that you instantly feel the need to run away you may want to just leave the internet all together....

If our opinions aren't important to you then how in the world do you posit that your opinion is worth anything to us?

BTW, accounts here aren't "deleted", only banned if it becomes necessary. Just hit the log out button and don't come back if that's how you feel. o_O

To answer the original question, it depends on the context.
I think Esav captured it best:
Hello and welcome to Bladeforums. Please take some time to review the rules. If you want to do reviews, simply linking to your youtube channel isn't going to work out. If you want to do a written review here and include a link or embed a youtube video that would be fine. We are trying to avoid the forum turning into a "link and run" depot for anyone with a youtube channel.

Personally I'd get outta the review business all together if you can't take any opposing or different opinions from yours. Yup, the review thing, for you? Not so much.

I'd just stick with YouTube reviews where you can shut off or delete comments that don't agree with you. Just be careful, the YouTube community is pretty ruthless too.
