Didn't someone post a pic of a beautiful "Conan" sword he had made?

I thought I jotted down his user name. I wanted to talk to him about a commission, and now it's like the post fell off the planet.

Or, um - back to my question in the title...

I would suggest that anyone producing "Conan" swords for sale would be guilty of licensing infringement unless they happen to be the company Marto out of Spain and could be sued for their efforts. I suppose they might make a Conan type sword...

You are not insane. It was a lovely heavy beast.

8 lbs I remember correctly?

I remember when he said he was going to do it, I seriously underestimated his talent.

Savagesword is the maker, I believe. It was a hollow ground stock removal 5160 1/4 inch thick beast. The fittings were lost wax method.

Found it.....

Greetings, for sale is my latest piece... a conan-inspired sword...

Wow what a beast...
... awesome execution of a classic fantasy blade for sure.

Yup, Savagesword makes some pretty amazing pieces. I'd love to visit his shop sometime, considering we live in the same area.

He's a nice guy, and he's been pursuing the perfection of the Conan sword for a long time. His price was dirt cheap too, IMHO.
