I want a red Cadet. For about 2 weeks, the local Target has had 1 silver Cadet on the hook. They probably won't order any until they are empty. I moved the silver cadet to another hook so that some 16yo kid will see an empty hook, scan a barcode and get variety pack ordered. Am I evil?

Not evil..but it won't work. It will not show up as an "out" in the system, as long as there is stock they won't be ordered. If you bought it, then they would get more in. The Hunter Green ones are the ones to look for, since they are a special run only for Target.

Honestly, if you talked to somebody in customer service, there is a good chance you could get them to order it for you. Or you could always try to find one online.

I work for Target and the system is what places the orders. When an item is sold the system waits until a predetermined limit has been reached and then orders the items itself. The people at guest service may pretend like they can place an order for a knife in a specific color but they can not.

I'd like to hear more about that Hunter Green color and being specific for Target I thought it was pretty cool so I got one at Christmas - and carried it for the holidays - collected lots of comments too! - and oh yeah, I bought the red and silver as well!
Peace
Revvie

Since the cadet is one of THE best edc sak's there is, no, you are not evil. The cadet covers all the functions you will need in a real world day to day existance, with no more bulk that two sticks of Wrigleys chewing gum. It's one of the most efficiant weight to function sak's there is. The only one better is the alox bantam, and that's the bulk of one stick of Wrigleys chewing gum.

Go for it, and remember the call; Maximum minimalisim!
