Am I missing something here???

Clips can be very exciting. Theres a whole thread just around the corner where a clip changed a fellow's whole perception of SpyderCo. Now that OP's whole beef was SpyderCo wouldn't send him a free one while people on e bay are now up to $61 for a 'Used' one. Hmmm.

But, as we know, and as Greykilt reminds us - Clips can be very exciting! :D
 
It's been relisted now. Maybe the winner read the description after winning and backed out? Who knows.

Really??? Who would do that? they could by a new Delica with the clip for that price.
