Ok, I have only been around the "Traditional" area for a short time but it has had the greatest impact on me thus far! Now I have depleted a great number of my "Tactical Knives" and replaced them with Slipjoints of one kind or another and I could not be Happier! I very much like GEC's and the Schatt & Morgans. I can't decide a favorite style except I seem to have many Stockmans...Hmmmm??? Anyway my question "Am I Missing Something" is regarding "Marbles" Knives. As of late I have ended up with (2) Large Jigged Bone Sunfish Knives by Marbles. And I think they are built amazingly well. Nice fit good finish. Blades are tight and show no signs of wiggle and were pretty darn sharp out of the pouch...Yeah a box and a zipper pouch for $19.00 delivered... I know they are made in China but come on??? I have already done this with Spyderco Benchmade and others and survived. I was thinking these knives were an outstanding way to purchase several Styles and sizes of slippies and try them out before you spend some big $$$$ on the Super Nice Stuff or even a Custom. Just a thought... I want to try a Swing Gaurd knife and I will purchase one these before I get a more expensive one just in case I not happy with the design. I can't imagine these Sunfish folders failing me any time soon. I wanted a Sunfish or Elephant Toe but wasn't sure if I would care for the size. As works out I do, so now I won't feel weird about $185.00 for a Fight'n Rooster or S&M... Thanks for listening! Your thoughts on this please and Happy Holidays!!!! ~baba~
