Am I reading this right? Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL are the same weight?

Is this because the XL is FFG? My catalog says 5.2 oz for both and the website has them listed at 5 oz and 5.2
How's that possible if there's nearly a full inch difference in size?
I really need to look at the XL then!

If it's true then the XL must have skeletonized liners, plus the FFG blade. It wouldn't surprise me that much...the extra length in the blade is at the very tip which is the thinnest and lightest area of the blade.

BladeHQ has the XL at 6.2 oz vs. 5.0 oz for the Manix 2, but the video on the site said the XL does have skeletonized liners. My XL should be here tomorrow

Yep, 6.2 oz is solely for the original release with the solid liners. Every batch since has had skeletonized liners and gets listed at 5-5.2oz.

FWIW you can tell between those by sight because the 6.2 oz version has the clear cage on the lock, and the later lighter ones have the black cage.
