Unless I missed it, I expected there to be a thread or at least a post about the BCCI Paperstone 112s arriving. I love mine!

No, your not alone. I got mine yesterday. It was love at first sight. I think its really a nice small game knife, take to town, utility carry size knife.

Thank you very much Buck & Board, its a hit. DM

Mine showed up yesterday as well, while I was out of town on business. I logged in here last night to see what they look like and was disappointed that you slackers had not shared pics! :D

Anyway, I was excited to get home and open it up. It's a quality add to the collection.

I'd take any of the 3 camping, hunting or for everyday carry. The 112(middle) has a little more belly, thicker blade, finger grooves, no nail nick, thicker handle and straight back (blade and handle configuration). Which to me lends more eye appeal to the package. ITs a style I really like.I've been using the 110 & 500 for about a year now and have found no problems with them. DM

Casey, That was the same occurance w/ me. Working Out of town--wife opens package, calls and says she really likes them. When I get home (today) she has her's in her pocket. DM

Didn't they have to send them back to Buck to get them marked S30V? How did they mark them?

With the same logo, 'flame Bos S30V'. We never saw them prior as the board caught it and returned them. Then it was put on and sent out. DM

They're not stamped.

I didn't think they would be stamped. I was curious if they were marked like shown below or in some other way. It's one of my 110 versions from last year. They didn't get marked and were sent out that way. I sent mine back and Joe had it marked for me. I believe this is a laser etch and is the same as the markings on the Vantage Pro's.

No they aren't in the same place, but it appears to be the same method that was used on mine, lasered instead of engraved.

The lettering is a little different but not unlike some we've seen on other knives and it came with a COA. Still, the entire package is great. DM

Here are the other two ways I've seen the Bos symbol applied. The top one is engraved and the bottom one is stamped.

Just noticed when Imafritz posted a pic of his 112 BCCI Paperstone that it has red spacers. The 110 does not. I find that peculiar. Anyone else notice?

I noticed that right off as well. The red spacers add a splash of color to the 112 package. It's the lighter weight and blade shape I really like about the 112. Plus, handle features. DM
