So, I just found out there is something out there called the "Jupiter Commander". It looks like a custom only run of a Commander model knife with a 4.875" blade and an OAL of 11.75". Had anyone else ever heard of this?

Heard of it, but that's about it. Good grief look how small the pivot screw looks in proportion to that behemoth.

i first saw this on the green site - someone posted a pic of his custom commander collection from micro to jupiter

never saw another pic until now

really cool!

Yea, I think it goes from Jupiter Commander, Ubr Commander, Super CQC-8 for the ones 10"+ OAL.

News to me, but it looks like it fits right in with the entire Commander line. That's a nice job on scaling everything up and still keeping the right proportions. 3/4 of a pound... wow!

If that is a standard pivot screw, and why wouldn't it be, OMG!

I thought my Super CQC 8 was a decent size. That is in another league altogether.

My Super Commander is just big enough to me to be at the limits of handy pocket carry. For me, anyways.

That would impress people, that's for sure!

Yeah, I saw this a few weeks after I bought the Ubr... just when I thought I had the biggest one, I learn some dude out there has one just a little bigger than mine...

Just to be clear, I'm talkin knives here... :D

Yup, pretty cool blade. Saw it on the green site as well. Thanks for sharing again though, I love all variations of the Commander
