Am I Too Late

OK, I'm probably being anal, but is this too late of a lock up on a brand new Techno 2?
I'm just concerned that after wear/ breaking in, that the lock bar will touch the other handle slab causing blade play.

That looks pretty normal for a Ti Taichung frame lock.

I like my frame lock knives to have lockup like that.
Early lockup doesn’t seem ideal to me cause in my experience lockup does not change much.

This would be for quality knives though, I do have a cheap Gerber that ended up moving all the way over but it still is ok.

Some would lead you to believe a framelock will self destruct once it touches the other side.

That Techno looks just fine.

I was never worried about the strength of the lockup.
I guess the real question I had was how much the Ti lockbar is likely to
wear against the steel tang.
And how much further the lock bar will move over during its life.
