Some time ago I acquired a Cold Steel Black Rhino. Although I really like the knife, it's a bit to big to EDC due to its over 4 1/4 inch blade, and the scales are a bit too slippery/smooth for me. While they are G10, they are soooo smooth, that I feel a bit unsure I'll not inadvertently lose control of the knife.
So, I'm considering personalizing the scales, and wonder what you all think, and would like to know if you've ever seen one with modded scales. If you have a pic, that would be great.
