Amazing customer service

Hi all,
Just wanted to share recent customer service experience. Purchased new fine ceramic bench stone (full size). On inspection stone had a small pit or hole in the surface with raised edge that caught the blade on sharpening stroke. Contacted spyderco who in one email, apologised profusely for the issue, said they would be sending me a new stone and was there anything else they can do. Short time later I received USPS first class dispatch notice and 5 days later new flawless stone arrived in Australia with follow up apology letter.

Thanks Sal, and especially Charlynn from warranty for standing behind your products and treating customers with such care and attention.

I have been a spyderco customer for over 20 years, this was the first warranty issue I have ever had. Needless to say I will be a loyal customer for many decades to come.
 
My kudos to Spyderco...not that I'm at all surprised. On several occasions, their Customer Service has performed minor miracles that I requested. My number ONE knife company for MANY years.
 
Wow. That's how it should be.

And they didn't even make you send in the defective one?

If that's the case, even more awesome!
