Today's mail call at "breakfast" (1 slice undertoasted cinnamon bread and a little peach yogert) had an unexpected package for me.
I used the MAM sheepsfoot to open it.
Inside the package? Three Classic Stockman! 🤯😳😁👍

An unusual blade combination. Clip Point; Spey; and Pen.

Second a 4 inch closed (NIB) Imperial Frontier "Double Eagle".

Homelite Advertising or "Free With Purchase"? I don't know. In my groundskeeper days (indipendent contractor, also did tree trimming and removal. Or as part of my duties at the boss' Florida Keys vacation rental property and at their Idaho TV station) I used several Homelite tools, including a gas backpack leaf blower, gas hedge trimmer and gas 24 inch chainsaw. Excellent tools.

Last and certinely not least: A 4 inch closed Imperial Bicentenial

I like the "Old Hickory-ish" blade details.

The Frontier and Imperial have the "standard" Stockman blade complement.
Only the Imperial Bicentenial has 1095 blades. The other two are stainless.

"WHO SENT THEM?!?" you ask?

Love this, well done Mr secret person- that's very very cool, and to you Steve a worthy recipient I always enjoy reading your posts.

A great package of Knives, when you look at that Frontier Stockman- There's your answer who made them for Sears, totally underrated Knives to the max- only because they were produced by the tens of thousands, but oh boy that last one as you described that has the features of the Hickory Fixed Blades - and the blade grinds reach out and grab me, I think that is very very cool, I love it that's something I am now looking for, 4 inches closed too - perfect!

Awesome reading for the morning here in NZ.

I had one just like it, but with a plain black wrap on the handle, but I gave it away. I still have a two-blade Texas jack from the same series, which I bought used to replace one which I had since the 1980s, but fell apart in my hand maybe 10 years ago or so.

Congrats on the splendid stockman trio, Steve, and plaudits to your anonymous benefactor!:cool::cool::thumbsup:
I know you prefer big stockman patterns, and I tend to agree with you, although I've found that a medium size stockman like your new Carhartt is a very handy knife to have in my watch pocket. (I've been carrying a Buck 373 that belonged to my late father-in-law almost every day lately.)

I happen be the lucky recipient of Tom's big Imperial stockman that's very similar to your Bicentennial Imperial. Here's a photo:

What a great surprise knife package, Steve. Cool variety of stockman patterns. The bicentennial really grabs my attention, love the cover art on it. Congrats to you and hats off to Mr or Ms Anonymous. 👍
