2 years ago I lost my quiet carry drift hiking in the CATSKILLS mountains in N.Y….Today I found it after laying under the snow ,rain,all the weather elements after two years..any one doubting vanix steel check out these photos…before and after cleaning it..what a great knife…

And this is exactly why I finally ordered a QC Waypoint a couple days ago. I'm finding myself in saltwater more and more these days. Just knowing Vanax is essentially corrosion proof just gives that extra peace of mind on lazy maintenance days..

I had a similar situation with a spyderco delica in my actual pig pen lol unfortunately it was zdp189 and didn't hold up well. Still have it floating around somewhere
