I just received my first knife from John today and I cant express how awesome it is and how happy I am with it! Its is a custom made GBH... Once I get a chance I will post some cool photos but there are pics of it already in the "almost ready to ship 2015" thread/post 3/5/15. The pics are great but they dont even do it justice. The workmanship is top quality and the result is second to none, it feels perfect in the hand, and it exceeds how I envisioned it.... Seriously this is unlike anything I own, and I own many other handmade blades.
If you are considering a JK Handmade knife or reading about them for the first time, I also need to mention how great John is as a guy. Not only is he a great craftsman, he is a super businessman in every way and a gentleman. I cant recommend him enough. I am actually already in the works on deciding what my second JK is going to be!! I would definitely welcome any suggestions from anyone else...

Sounds like a first JK to me :)

How about a JK hawk of some kind for number 2. Or go the other direction and get a bluegill, fieldmate or Toby's knife. Nice edc sized knives one and all.

Congratulations Johnny -

John is one of the friendliest guys you will deal with, and his knives are very rugged tools.

best

Welcome to the cult of the GBH! It is pretty sweet....

JK sure knows how to make a blade. I have a "Knecker" from John that is simply an amazing knife. I can imagine that a JK in the larger sizes is a stunning piece of craftsmanship and built to go.

Enjoy it! And don't forget the photo!

Thanks for the advice...the 154 CM utility looks pretty cool too!
