I had heard that these Chinese made knives were
very nice for the price, so I checked them out on
Ebay. The first one I got was a pick bone copperhead,
won at about $10.00 including shipping. This is a nice knife!
good snap, scored bolsters, nice fit and finish,
correct proportions (not fat & clunky). The only thing
that was not quite right was the thickness of the blade
near the edge, so sharpening left about a 1/16" bevel.
Blade is stamped 440 & takes a nice sharp edge.
I liked it so well that I have since bid and won a Canoe
and a 2 blade doctor. Both have scored bolsters and
nice F&F also. About $10.00 also. I noticed that they
also offer pearl scales. They tend to go for about $18.00.

I probably won't buy anymore but, these knives have
sure change my Idea of Chinese workmanship and
would be a bargain at over $20.00.

I've got the Rough Rider SAK clone, and they are surprising. There are some issues with fit and finish, not too many,as well as no warranty.Just from what little I know best;if you would rate Vic as an A,Wenger as a B, RR would come in as a C +.With just a little tweaking, they would be a B-,with some kind of warranty a solid B.In 2-3 years time ,if they continue improving their quality control, they will easily surpass Wenger and be knocking at Vic's door.Just my $.02 ,YMMV
