He had posted some pictures of this here

And we got to talking about it. He sent it down, and I'm working on the sheath.

This is one remarkably sharp sucker. Richard chopped away at his ancient red oak bench, and the knife still shave newspaper like a light saber. I cut the material for the sheath out of an East German Army boot, and it went through the 4 layers of leather like butter.

The knife balances well back in the hand, and so is extremely light and fast. I don't think it shows up well in the pictures, but there is a very nice quench line.

The grip are neoprene handles, which offer a secure grip in all conditions, and is easily cusomizable.

This is a VERY nice knife! Thanks, Richard.

Richard sent me pictures of this one a couple of weeks ago after I asked for spine shot. I really like the looks of this knife. It looks very functional for both camp chores and food prep. I wouldn't hesitate to use this knife hard. Let's see some pictures of the sheath you made.

i'm glad you like it phillip. i'm thinking of making a larger version of that one. i really like that shape.
