I took my SB Delica on a walk through the woods today and came across a tree that was begging to be climbed. As I was making my way down my wife snapped the photo below. I was wrapping my legs around the limb and going to swing down and hang under the limb. I had my Delica clipped in my back left pocket.

After I swung around and then dropped to the next branch and then to the ground I noticed my knife.

As I rotated around the clip dug into a slit in the bark and the tree stole my knife! I couldn't have created a cooler picture.

Very nice blade! Had any issues with rust?

No, not rust. I cut up oranges for a few days when I first got it and developed a patina. That keeps the red rust away so far.

You can see it a little in this picture. It has a grayish blueish haze.

I have seen that pocket clip before, but I cannot remember who makes them! Could you tell me the name and where you got it?
I would love to have deep carry like that!

Cool photos, nccole! I just got my super blue Delica this week, and I'm loving it. It's weird, but mine (bought brand new) actually came with a bit of patina on the Seki City side of the laminate. I don't mind, as I plan on letting it develop a natural patina, but I found it strange. I will say that push-cutting paper requires zero effort. This knife is screaming sharp.

lol, great picture/story.

I've been super impressed with mine as well. sharpest factory knife I've held, and I've found the rust issue to be horribly overblown by forum members too. I should have expected that, since it is bought by many people with little to no carbon steel experience. coming from 1095, 1075, etc there is no issue.
