Amazing!!!

Boy, I thought mine was pretty until I saw that damascus one. Of course the pau shell one is pretty cool also.

Wish I could read what it says there.

No problem!!

I've supplied two Spydercos on the non-clip-side with overlays. The Dragonfly has an Abalone, the Police Model an overlay made of giraffe bone. The damascus blade was manufactured by Juergen Schanz.

The other postings are  s

The blade on that Police looks fantastic! They are saying Juergen Schanz made the damascus blade, I wonder if he, or the gentleman who posted the pictures, or someone else fitted it to the Police.

@ deacon,
yes, i´d made the blade from damasteel and put it into the police.. makes a lot of fun to see the finished piece

amazing work you did sir.

is it hard to disassemble a Police model and how did you put the blade back in the knife?

SS handle spydercos come without screws so it has to be a little difficult...

@ senate,
thanks !

its not a problem to take the blade out.
i out the pin carefully out and make after the blade i ready a new one.
you cant take the same pin, because its not possible to get em out without killing them (or even there are some scratches on em)

oh ... my english is as bad as michelin:---)

Wonderful job Sir. A masterpiece it is. May I ask what steel did you use for the new pivotpin? I mean, one too soft would wear out too quickly, one too hard would make it impossible to rivet.
