Greetings...Looked up Sebenzas on Amazon, and was directed to sale items by "Tibet." These are clearly not the real Chris Reeve product. What gives? Thanks in advance for your thoughtful replies...;-)

some other guy reported him to Amazon and Spyderco on the Facebook knife groups. He claimed he was new to selling and would take the listings off

Thanks, Ken. Will do. This guy's stuff is so obviously not the real deal...;-)

Wow that guy is pretty prolific with his fakes. Can someone go in and leave a review that it is a fake if you have not actually purchased it? Just wondering, I've not done many Amazon reviews.

I laughed when I saw that they ship from china. That's funny. Caveat emptor, my friends.

+1 on what Ken44 said... I will only buy my CRK's from the BF-listed dealers. Fin. :)

I also tried to pass this info along to the real Chris Reeves.com., but it got bounced back as undeliverable. Any help here on how they can be alerted to this? If that's what needs to be done. I am in unfamiliar waters here.

And a quick question. What does it mean, in layman's terms, when a used knife advert indicates a percentage of lockup, as in "80% lockup?"

Thanks for your knowledgeable reply, as my main interest is fixed blade (Busse's), but will most likely get a Sebenza 21 or 25 soon.

I hate fake knives!! There was a gun and knife show in my area last year and a guy was selling a bunch of FAKES!! ZT , XM18, Benchmade, Spyderco, ECT! I wanted to see the person who runs the show but I could not find them. I told as many people as I could not to buy knives from that booth unless you did not care if it was a fake!! He was not at the last show. Bet he thought someone would be looking for him. I hope no one here gets cheated like that!! Kevin :thumbdn:

Thanks. I just misspelled the name, writing quickly!, at work. But you gave me a better address than the one I had...;-)
