as some of you know, i recently ordered my first knife, a kershaw tremor. well thats not the knife that came in the mail today. amazon shipped me the wrong one!!! they sent me the kershaw compound. i decided that im gonna keep it. is this a good idea?

It is if you like both knives about the same, they are reasonably the same price, and you don't want to go to the hassle of shipping back and waiting.

If you do decide to keep it, I would still tell Amazon they messed up.

If you like the Compound more, sure why not? But I think the Compound is actually a few bucks cheaper than the Tremor, but not by a lot. Same blade steel and handle materials, just a different blade shape. The compound is also 1/4" shorter on the blade.

Contact Amazon, tell them of their mistake, and then ask that for your trouble, they should let you keep the Compound, AND send you the knife that you originally ordered. :D

If you decide you want the first knife, amazon will ship you the right one over night with a label to return the wrong one. No hassle of shipping back first and waiting, amazon is good people

I don't understand the amazon system on distributing the order....IMO, they are still very good store on the net now

Did you order from amazon or from someone selling on amazon?

Im curious about this to. I know Amazon makes their vendors stand up to their side of the deal, but I normally don't order anything unless it's sold and shipped by Amazon. (Probably because I have a prime account) either way you'll get taken care of if you give them a call!
