Got this one in the mail today off of Ebay.

One sharp looking slipjoint, would love to see this bone on more models, especially a 301!!! :D

They must be using up stock, as these just came out, but the blade is stamped 2007.

I'm waiting for a stag model from SMKW. It's a model of Buck slippie that I don't have. Actually, there's lots I don't have, but this one was intriquing. It was a "special" on their TV show last Monday. I had ordered a couple other items for Christmas gifts and figured I might as well make the shipping and handling worth while. Maybe the big Brown Truck will smile on me this week.

Is that cow bone? I just got a little pink bone 382 mini trapper for my daughter and it stated it was cow:eek: Not all that impressive(pink notwithstanding) didnt moo ve me to get another:D The brown contoured looks much better. The flat surfaced handles show alot of white.

BTW Bear claw, how sharp was it out of the box? My daughters was the 1st Buck I've ever got that wasnt razors edge.

Pretty much all bone used in pocket knives is cow shin bone from Argentina or other sources, I don't think they use a lot of US cow bone, due to stuff we use in cattle feed making it to brittle or something IIRC???

Main blade on mine is razor sharp, but the pen blade was a little less sharp.

I just got a Red bone in this week along with an Amber one for buddy. SMKW had them on an e-mail special for $7.97 a pieace. I also picked up a Stag mini toothpick also.

My stag canoe came in yesterday. Nice stag. In fact, very nice stag. Nice fit and finish, and both blades--shaving sharp, right out of the box.

I've already used it to butcher a pear..........
