Just received a new SMKW catalog and it shows some Old Timers with a real neat looking Amber bone handle. Just wondered if there are any plans for additional patterns in this handle material? It looks great.

I tried to find these knives in their online catalog, and couldn'. I'd like to order one of these, if I could find out where. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it. I tried using the search function on their website, but still had no luck.

I also did a double take on the SMKW page with Old Timer Classics.

Unfortunately the illustration shows blade stamp with "Schrade +" as first line. It is also noted in the description text. This indicates the POS stainless steel blades.

Maybe POS is too strong, the collectors don't have a problem with 420 series stainless and the knives look great!

Regards,
FK

mnblade, I think FK answered your question. They are stainless. I think they make these for collecting and must not figure people use them.
