David- What's the finish on this knife?
I think a nice wood or G10 would make this knife more appealing, if I may.
Was the thing at the pommel?

Hi Rolf,
The steel is 1084 and the finish was a little different on this one. I hand sanded to 320, then a cork belt followed by a hand finish to 1000g & a very light buff. As you can see I ground off the lanyard tab.
