Most of the time when we talk about ambidextrous clips we think of one clip that can be moved from one side of the knife to the other. Has anyone with multiple Spydies (not that anyone here owns more than one!) tried putting a clip on both sides of a knife at the same time?

I know it would thicken the knife, but it seems like it could possibly fill the hand a little better and could arguably be convenient for a climber or someone else who might have to stow a knife with either hand at any given time. There is a also a certain beauty in symmetry.

I would try this myself but my only two Spydies (delican and Native III) have different kinds of clips (traditional and wire).

I was thinkin about doing the same thing to my Delica. Unfortunately, My renegade has a three-screw clip.

I designed a knife with an integral dual clip. It was a good thing beause the knife itself is very slim and the clip(s) improved gripping. But speaking for an usual EDC like a Delica, I still preffer it single clipped. If I were a climber or a diver, I'd rather go for a Snap-It or Remote Release model.
